Jane Comfort and Company were honored with a 2018 Bessie Award for Outstanding Revival for our 40th Anniversary Retrospective that was presented at La MaMa, NYC in April 2018.
The Bessie Award honored Jane “For a program highlighting four decades of illuminating work delving into politics, family, friendship, and pure dancing. For a pivotal exploration of language, music, and movement in pieces addressing social issues in ways that continue to have impact in the current moment.”
