Lighting Designer: Company repertory since 1993
David Ferri was born in Pennsylvania and attended photography school in Rochester, NY. He was the resident lighting designer/technical director at Performance Space 122 from 1985 to 1991, where he designed for countless artists, including Ethyl Eichelberger, Viveca Vazquez and Mark Dendy. He has received two BESSIE Awards for lighting design. He was technical director for Pina Bausch’s 1996 and 1999 US tours, and for the last six summers he has been resident production manager/lighting designer at the American Dance Festival.
